Mandatory Work Activity scheme – some changes needed?

Here is a careful and obviously knowledgeable critique of the British government’s Mandatory Work Activity scheme. It looks like the scheme needs some changes!

  1. Report on lone parents and work
  2. “the NHS is administering only about half the amount of radiotherapy needed to treat British patients properly”
  3. Charity work in the East End
  4. We told that the NHS just needed more money…
  5. Who said “People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance”?
