On Wednesday, coughs and colds permitting, I will give a talk at the London School of Economics. Four well-qualified people will have licensed to interrupt. Entry is free.
At the end, members of the audience will be invited to make comments, some of which will be used when it is broadcast.
I would be delighted if those who visit this site and agree with some of the ideas come and give their support.
The link to the details of the event is here.
The programme will be broadcast on 21st December on Radio 4 at 8.00pm.

I've since read your link and my forebodings are growing. They've stacked the panel with hostile interlocutors. Strange way of coming at Democracy...

now now you can go yourself and check if the BBC broadcast accurately. in any case - this is a debate - if it wasn't democratic - then why would they be even having this debate. Ha ha. Hostile interlocutors indeed. They may not like what he says, he may not like what they say - so - what's wrong with freely expressed opinions. if we threw rotten tomatoes at him, that may be hostile..but rest assured, they're quite a tame audience at these LSE public lectures.

No doubt the BBC will heavily edit the proceedings.
Characteristics are reliable after all....
